What JavaMe is
JavaMe is a free scheduling tool that lets hosts publish availability for in-person coffee meetings at public venues, and lets guests book or join a waitlist. JavaMe does not host the meetings, does not verify identities, and is not a party to any conversation or agreement that happens during a meeting.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or book a meeting. By using JavaMe you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of information on your profile and for keeping your account credentials secure. You may sign in with email and password, with Google, or with Apple. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
In-person meetings
All meetings booked through JavaMe are intended to take place in person at a public venue selected by the host. When you book, you confirm that you understand this and agree to attend in person. JavaMe is a scheduling tool only — we are not liable for the conduct, safety, or outcome of any meeting, and we do not supervise meetings or guarantee that the other party will attend.
Host responsibilities
Hosts are responsible for honoring published availability, for publishing accurate venue information, and for cancelling promptly when they cannot attend. Hosts are responsible for any content they publish on their profile.
Guest responsibilities
Guests are expected to attend confirmed bookings or to cancel in advance within the host’s cancellation window. Repeated no-shows or abuse of a host’s availability may result in being blocked by that host.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use JavaMe to harass, threaten, spam, solicit, or harm any person; to impersonate others; to circumvent a block; or to use the service for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.
Blocks and reports
Hosts may block or report guests, and reports may be reviewed by JavaMe. Reported behavior that violates these Terms may result in account suspension. Block and report records may be retained to enforce these Terms.
Third-party services
JavaMe integrates with third-party services (including Supabase, Mailgun, Google, Apple, Cloudflare, and Vercel). Their terms apply when you use those integrations, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
Disclaimer
JavaMe is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JavaMe and Concepcion Design, LLC disclaim all liability for any damages arising from your use of the service, missed or cancelled meetings, or any interaction with another user.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of JavaMe after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
